Nothing is a walking simulator developed for VR in Unity. The player inhabits a shapeless avatar, moving from an expansive field toward an open-faced dollhouse. By placing the player in a shapeless body and limiting their actions to movement and observation, Nothing considers the tension between agency and predetermined experience. The player is invited to explore freely, but only within a world whose spaces, objects, and emotional progression have already been arranged for them.

The empty house suggests a larger world that is mysterious and foreboding, yet the player’s only option is to continue exploring. Each room possesses a distinct atmosphere and contains carefully placed, well-worn objects that imply lives, routines, and memories without revealing their owners. The player moves through the dining room, kitchen, bedroom, altar, and finally the attic, entered through a keyhole-shaped passage. Organized from the least intimate to the most private, this progression translates the house into a psychological interior, where domestic space becomes a structure for navigating memory, absence, and intimacy.
