Platonic Chains was a site-specific installation exploring sound & mechanized-organic interaction. Installed at the Media Commons @ 370 Jay Street in April 2024. Featured in the Interactive Telecommunications Spring Show May 2024 & the [ Interactive Media Arts Instagram ].

Materials used include 1/4" steel chain, motorized winch, quick links, Arduino, and found objects.
Linear actuators were used to program & mechanize the up/down movement of the chains. The actuators were controlled by code in Arduino & were positioned facing the winch remote within an open-faced wood box.
